Hot Metal Half Caff Blend

This 50/50 blend brings together our Mayan Decaf and Union Blend, and it’s our nod to one of Pittsburgh’s astounding 446 bridges. A major part of Pittsburgh’s past, the Hot Metal Bridge was once used to transport molten metal across the Monongahela River. Today the bridge has a new, sustainable use as a bike and pedestrian walkway. This ecofriendly blend has a chocolaty aroma with flavors of cocoa nibs and hints of lemon and berry. The overall cup is balanced with moderate acidity, medium body, and a dry finish. This is a great choice for those looking to cut back on caffeine without sacrificing taste. This Fair Trade Organic coffee is just the right combo of Central American, Indonesian and African beans to produce a classic Italian style espresso with our own little twist. Who says decaf can’t taste just as a good as regular coffee? This Fair Trade Organic, Honduran decaf, really surprised us! It is hands down one of best decafs we’ve tasted. Unlike traditional decafs which uses chemicals in the decaffination process, our Sunset Decaf beans were soaked in only natural, mountain spring water to extract caffeine. It works great as a dark roast, and we can detect delicious chocolate brownie and almond with a hint of lemon in each cup. 12 oz
